Rev. Louis Arceneaux, C.M.lives in his native city of New Orleans and has been a priest in the Congregation of the Mission of St. Vincent DePaul since 1966.
Earlier in his priestly ministry, Fr. Arceneaux received a doctorate in theology at Sant'Anselmo in Rome, Italy. He then taught sacramental and liturgical theology in several seminaries, and later served in parish ministry. Presently, he resides at the DePaul Residence in uptown New Orleans with fellow Vincentians.
Fr. Arceneaux has been preaching parish missions and retreats on and off throughout his ministry, but has done so more regularly since 1992. In conjunction with his preaching, Father has produced two CDs of Guided Meditations to facilitate prayer. He uses these meditations during his preaching. Father is also available to offer preached or directed retreats to interested groups of laity,
religious communities of women or men, deacons and priests.
